An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for a highly commercial Finance Business Partner to join a market-leading manufacturing and product-led business during a period of transformation and growth.
This role will play a critical part in driving profitability across a complex product portfolio, providing robust financial insight and partnering closely with commercial, operational and leadership teams to improve performance and support strategic decision-making.
We are seeking an individual who is comfortable operating in an environment where data quality, pricing governance and margin optimisation are key business priorities. This is a hands-on role requiring both analytical rigour and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities Include:
– Analyse product and customer profitability to identify opportunities for margin enhancement and commercial improvement.
– Develop and implement a structured pricing framework to support sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
– Review, cleanse and improve financial and commercial data to provide a reliable basis for decision-making.
– Identify and address margin leakage across products, customers and channels.
– Deliver insightful analysis on pricing, costs, margins and profitability trends.
– Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams to drive commercial performance.
– Support inventory and working capital initiatives that contribute to a stronger balance sheet.
– Challenge existing processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
– Build robust models and reporting tools to improve visibility of business performance.
– Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have a proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG or product-led environment. You will have strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving profitability, influencing business performance and experience analysing product profitability and pricing strategies. Essential will be demonstrable success in identifying and mitigating margin leakage, strong data analysis skills with the ability to work through complex and imperfect datasets.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are required along with being
comfortable working autonomously and delivering results at pace within an interim assignment.
