My client is a privately owned, multi-site Oil & Gas business with a strong international footprint. They are now looking to recruit a CFO who can work with the senior leadership team to provide critical strategic input whilst also ensuring the business has a best-in-class systems, controls and processes. This is a highly visible role, and the incoming CFO will need to have the necessary credibility and gravitas to work effectively with the board and be outwardly mobile with the wider business functions. Previous experience of working in an early stage, high growth business is essential as this role requires an individual with a truly ‘hands-on’ approach together with a strong understanding and appreciation for the more commercial contributions required of a CFO in a fast growing, entrepreneurial business. Key responsibilities include:

* Lead, direct and manage a small finance team
* Key member of the Senior Leadership Team
* Lead the financial planning by developing robust growth plans and forecasts
* Ensure timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
* Treasury and working capital management
* Responsible for day to day banking relationships and stakeholder management

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), have previous experience as CFO in a fast growing, dynamic environment along with a demonstrable track record of building robust teams whilst ensuring operational excellence. You will be adaptable, robust, resilient, and able to be both ‘hands-on’ whilst also operating as a strategic partner. In addition to this, previous experience within the Oil & Gas sector is essential. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a business at an exciting time as they look to expand.
