We have partnered with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed infrastructure and technology business who are seeking a commercially astute Deputy CFO to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial future. With significant investment already secured and ambitious expansion plans underway, this is a rare opportunity to join the executive leadership team at a transformative stage of the business journey.

Key Responsibilities:
– Partner closely with the CFO and wider leadership team to drive financial strategy, reporting, and operational excellence.
– Lead on corporate finance initiatives including debt refinancing, equity structuring, and investor relations.
– Provide rigorous oversight of financial planning & analysis (FP&A), forecasting, and cashflow management to support large-scale capital projects.
– Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance frameworks in line with a regulated infrastructure environment.
– Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring robust succession planning.
– Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Board, playing a key role in decision-making across growth, investment, and M&A opportunities.

The successful applicant will be a qualified finance leader (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience at executive or senior leadership level. Demonstrable expertise in corporate finance, debt/equity structures, and stakeholder management will be essential along with a proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery in a fast-scaling environment. You will also have exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the gravitas to operate at Board level.
A background in infrastructure, technology, utilities, or capital-intensive industries would be highly advantageous.
