An ambitious senior finance professional is sought after to step up into the role of Interim Finance Director for a leading organisation joining an exceptional Executive team.
Collaborate with business leaders to develop and recommend strategies to improve profitability and cost efficiencies.
Undertakes regular financial reviews of the actual and forecast performance, including against its efficiency and effectiveness lead and KPIs, resourcing metrics, working capital and cash management.
Delivery of the financial aspects of the annual budget.
Works with delivery and commercial teams to ensure the financial performance. This includes the accurate implementation of group accounting policies and methodologies.
Participate in the development of three year strategy and planning. This planning should have a particular focus on maintaining and improving market competitiveness.
Developing strong inter-company relationships by proactively meeting with key internal finance and business stakeholders to keep abreast of changes/trends as well as to shape key decision making.
Owns and drives a wide variety special projects as assigned by CFO
Driving Financial management and reporting improvements and business risk management.
Definition of high quality, insightful management reporting including actuals reporting, budgets, forecasts and operating dashboard/ KPIs for the Executive team and Board and as required by the CFO
Preparation of budget guidance to business areas.
Analyse consolidated budgets and forecasts, and provides interpretation and guidance analysis.
Work with delivery and commercial teams to ensure the financial performance.
Provides interpretation of financial analysis to enable business areas to make key decisions and achieve targets. Identifies actions to drive opportunities and mitigate risks.
Challenge business assumptions in forecasting and planning, using analysis and post-implementation review processes.
Work with Strategy to develop the long range plan.
Builds working relationships with internal stakeholders and coordinating across the finance function.
Reviews and provides input into strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders.
Executing business strategies and operational plans to ensure the competitive position and profitability.
