Interim Financial Accountant

We are partnered with a PE backed telecommunications business who have an urgent requirement for a qualified accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis, providing key support during the year-end reporting cycle. The successful candidate will take ownership of statutory reporting, IFRS 16 lease accounting, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
-Lead and support the year-end close and audit process.
-Apply strong technical knowledge of IFRS 16 and related lease accounting.
-Prepare financial statements for group and subsidiary entities.
-Review balance sheets and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity.
-Support continuous improvement across reporting processes.

The successful applicant will be Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Have
strong experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits along with an excellent understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16. They will be confident managing complex data and meeting tight deadlines. Have strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Hybrid working (office-based 2-3 days per week).
