A leading business is seeking an Interim FP&A Lead to support the finance function through a period of change and play a key role as the organisation moves into the budgeting cycle.
This is an important interim appointment for a commercially minded finance professional with strong FP&A experience, excellent analytical capability and the confidence to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment. The successful candidate will help provide financial insight, support planning activity and bring rigour to budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
A key part of the role will involve working with large volumes of customer data, building and refining financial models, and delivering clear, actionable analysis to support decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities
-Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and planning activity during a period of change.
-Provide high-quality financial analysis and insight to support business decision-making.
-Manage, interpret and extract value from large volumes of customer data.
-Build, maintain and enhance financial models to support forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis.
-Partner with key stakeholders across finance and the wider business to challenge assumptions and improve planning quality.
-Support the business through the budgeting period, ensuring deadlines and outputs are delivered to a high standard.
-Help improve reporting, processes and financial visibility during a critical transition period.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
-Proven, demonstrable experience in FP&A roles.
-Strong experience handling large and complex customer data sets.
-Advanced capability in financial modelling.
-Excellent Excel skills are essential.
-Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
